The resort industry throughout the world is booming, offering an exciting selection of bodywork treatments to evoke a sense of wellbeing. The Hot Stone Therapy course is designed to help those interested in working in the spa industry but also offers a unique service to your massage clients.
Hot Stone Therapy goes back to ancient times where it was believed that stones had many healing properties for cleansing the body, relaxing the heart, grounding the soul and soothing the mind. Hawaiians have been using stones with heat for healing in order to restore balance in body, mind and spirit. The treatment involves placing hot stones on pressure and chakra points and massaging with oiled hot stones.
