Five Element Acupressure for Musculoskeletal Patterns

This is a hands-on workshop with plenty of time for supervised practice and for questions.
In this two-day workshop you will learn structural Acupressure treatment patterns that will integrate easily into massage & other styles of bodywork. The course begins with a brief overview of the principles of Five Element Acupressure including the origins of the work, the nature of Qi energy, ways of working with Qi, characteristics of acupoints and principles of point combinations. We then dive into the method, introducing specific treatment patterns for some common musculoskeletal imbalances:

Head, Neck and Shoulder Release The basic version of this pattern is a five-point treatment for headaches, shoulder, and neck pain and stiffness. An extended pattern utilises five other related points that offer more flexible treatment options.
Lumbar Release This treatment addresses lumbar pain and stiffness, incorporating important acupressure points of the Bladder and Kidney meridians.
Pelvic Release Patterns Two seperate treatment patterns based on Bladder and Gall Bladder meridians that work with structural constrictions of the posterior and anterior pelvis and sacrum.
Leg Release Patterns Three ways of working with musculoskeletal constrictions in the legs, utilising points of Bladder, Gall Bladder and Stomach meridians.
