Herbal Energetics - 3 weekends at bi-monthly intervals (in person or via Live Stream)

The course was introduced by Denis Stewart and has been taught by him for over 20 years in various locations. It is particularly suitable for those who are interested in presenting an 'energetic' balance to the increasing phyto- chemical interpretation of Western Herbal Medicine. It provides a 'tool' for the selection or confirmation of herbs selected to treat a particular individual. The course is not an intensive program in Ayurveda rather it uses or adapts fundamental principles of Ayurveda to modern Western Herbalism. The program may be of interest to practitioners of modalities including Medicine, Pharmacy, Naturopathy and Herbalism but is offered also to any interested person e.g., Allied Medical Practitioners , Bodyworkers, Nutritionists, health food store retailers, etc. The course draws on Denis' vast knowledge of Indian history and culture derived from his university studies in the history and culture of South Asia, his vast library of Ayurvedic books and his developed application of Ayurvedic principles in his own herbal medicine practice. Denis Stewart well-known Herbalist is a Australian Traditional Medicine Society Hall of Fame recipient and was bestowed Life membership by the society is nearing retirement and wishes to share his knowledge gained over decades regarding the use of medicinal plants.
