Lymphatics Specialisation

This workshop will endeavour to assist practitioners to identify and treat chronic lymphatic conditions and disorders and will include information regarding lymphoedema and lipoedema. We will revise the anatomy, function and physiology of the lymphatic system in depth and how it may impact on the health of the whole body. You will be introduced to additional tools to assist your understanding and to further support clients emotionally and mentally with chronic conditions of the lymphatic system. You will also be introduced to programmes that will offer clients self care options including exercise and self massage techniques. This program is designed for you as a practitioner to develop additional skills and knowledge in the management of chronic oedema.
